Lonely
Horror Stories - Lonely
Unfortunately it was beginning to show that cold, autumn weather.
Luckily for Sally she couldn't feel the coldness, but still she somehow
knew she was cold. Not dead cold of how she always is, but cold. Sally
sits her back up against the front door. The day seemed to be around
5:00, meaning it would be getting pitch black around 6:00.
For some odd reason, Sally wanted to punch something just to let her
anger out. The anger she kept inside from all the hatred to Johnny. He
raped her. He destroyed her. Sally snaps out of her thoughts seeing a small cat sitting down in front
of her. "Ah- what are you?" Sally snaps quickly realizing it's only a
small black cat. The cat runs his head on Sally's hand that lays on the
ground. Sally looks at the beautiful creature in aw as it purrs lightly.
The cat backs away from her hand now starring into Sally's emerald orbs.
"Hello," the cat begins. Sally jumps back a bit with her back against
the door. Her eyes widen at the sight of a cat talking. "Sorry if I
may have startled you. I am Grinny, and who might you be?" Sally looks
at the cat still in fear. How is this possible?
Sally relaxes her body and looks back into the cats eyes. "Sally."
Grinny stands up stretching his legs. He looks back at Sally with a sly
smirk. "I must be on my way. You keep yourself save my good friend,
Sally." Sally looks down at the dirt on her pale fragile hand.
"Goodbye.." her eyes look back up only to see Grinny is no where in sight. What a strange world.
It was silent, or maybe too silent. With the silence was the deep
thoughts of Johnny. The unforgiving Sally felt. It hurt to know you
can't trust anyone- even your family. Sally trusted uncle Johnny, but he
destroyed it.....He destroyed the trust and bond the two had only
because of the lust he felt.
Sally quickly looks up now clearing her mind away from Johnny. The trees
standing slump and tall, leaves rattling on the ground by the wind.
Everything seemed perfect and peaceful. Except till one particular tree
caught Sally's attention. It stood rather tall, well taller than the
others. It's body made it look as if it had a dark glow around it.
Out of Sally's curiosity she walked over to the tall, naked tree. The
more she got closer the more am raving in the tree she could see. She
now stood in front of the tree now seeing the carving clear.
It had a large circle with an X in the middle. It seemed weird because
most carvings in trees are usually 'A+S 4ever' or things such as that.
Sally shrugged off the weird eery feeling she felt and walked away, but
kept her eyes locked on the tree. Sally put her back up against the door
and slid down it. Sally looks up to see the tree no where to be found.
Every tree having red, orange, and yellow leaves or partially naked. Life is strange.
