It is said that the ghost of a headless girl haunts the Mount Big Black in the Harlan County, Kentucky. The local residents usually called the Headless Annie. A few years ago, the Kentucky is an area of the mine and Harlan County is a place that has most of the settlement for the workers miners. The huge demand from the mining products made everyone who was there employed to attract a result of the natural resources at the mine.

According to the legend, around that period, a 12-year-old girl named Annie had lived in Mount Big Black. Annie's father worked in the mines and very much agree with the association for the workers. One night, the employer sends a bunch of thugs to go away to Mount Big Black. They dragged Annie and her mother and father out of bed and bring them into the forest.

Then, they hung his body on a meat hook tied to a tree, so that the body of her father until his blood flow out like a pig being slaughtered. Annie were forced to watch the murder that they did on her mother ways with a sadistic.

Then, turn to Annie. The depraved man was immediately slashed her neck so that the her head and body separate, then throw it on a steep cliff. The body was lay there, no one was found in a few days. Meanwhile, the beasts were smelt the carcass then partied over there. The murder was never revealed in the court.

Now, if you go to the Mount Big Black after a night, around the place where she died, it is said you will see a headless ghost of Annie around the streets. Some people claim that they saw a body without a head, dressed in a nightgown wandering around without refraction that is not common. When you passed there, she will jump on the roof of your car and its engine will cease suddenly. Then, she will check which window lowered. If she found an open window, she would try to reach inside and take your head till in spite.
