The Kappa is a famous Japanese monster that has the face of a monkey, the beak of a turtle, and plate-shaped depression on the top of his head. He has green skin like a frog and a turtle shell on his back. Their arms and legs are able to stretch out incredibly long, and they have webbed hands and feet. In other words, they look pretty ugly.
Kappas usually play childish pranks, such as causing havoc and peeking up women's dresses. However, they are rather known to commit horrible and disturbing crimes, like kidnapping small children and killing people to feed on their organs.
In one of their most disgusting tricks, the Kappa will lurk underwater in streams, waiting for its victim. In the olden days of Japan, people would go by the river and squat to go to the bathroom. The Kappa would then swim underneath them and attack when least expected.
The Kappa grabs the butt of the victim, and then drags it down under the water. Sometimes, the Kappa just holds them there until they drown. Other times, the Kappa will stick it's arm up their butt, up through their insides, and grab a hold of the tongue. Then, the Kappa pulls the tongue back all the way through the butt, turning the victim completely inside out.
As the victim is flopping around in immense pain from being turned inside out, the Kappa then takes out their liver and eats it, letting them die horribly. Nowadays, since people instead go to the bathroom indoors, the Kappa now supposedly lurks in the sewer and bathroom pipes. Then, they just stick their arms up toilets and wait for someone to sit down so they can turn them inside out. Afterwards, they simply move on to the next toilet.
