Sleep Paralysis
Horror Stories - Sleep Paralysis
My mother used to tell me about how sleep paralysis, really just mean that a dead person was laying, or sitting on your chest. I never believed her. One night however, as I laid down, I couldn't sleep. It was an oddly quiet night, and I was really tired. I closed my eyes, and tried to sleep. Suddenly I heard two distinct childish voices, one on my left, another on my right.
"Say, lets play on her like last time."
I didn't open my eyes. I was terrified.
" Which game? The one where we stare at her, or where we suffocate her?"
I pretended to sleep. I didn't want to see their faces. But I could feel their hands on mine, and I their hands where cold and stiff. I couldn't move at all. I just laid there in the dark, with closed eyes, trying to regulate my breathing, and block them out.
"Lets play now!" One voice said.
"Not yet," the other one said. "She is still not asleep."
My eyes opened up quickly, as I tried to move, but my body didn't respond. They where little eyeless girls, their faces directing themselves at me. The next morning I woke up with a scar on my wrists and legs as if someone had tightly pinned me down to the bed all night. I never slept in that room again.
