The White Lady of Balete Pathway is a spooky story of a Philippines that is told of a woman dressed in white who always comes around the Balete Path. The name of the Balete emerged as a big Balete of trees once grew in the middle of the road. Although the tree is no longer there, road are still covered with Balete of trees on the sides. Several Spanish-style houses are also be seen along this road.
Several of the houses are here is said to be haunted by the previous occupant, their spirits can be summoned by rituals or sorcery. The local Residents also believe that the Balete of trees is not to used as an ornaments or furniture because it can invite the spirits.
Balete pathway also a place for The White Lady, the famous ghost around the place. This street runs along the District of New Manila in Quezon City, Philippines. Since the 1950s, the stories about a woman who appears and disappears along the street, also in the car passing, it has been reported and even announced in the media.
It is said that people passing in the street, usually men can not take their eyes of the figure of a beautiful woman who appears on the street until she disappeared.
