Bathsheba Sherman is said to be a witch that haunted house where once a place her residence. This house has been inhabited for eight generations and the family who had lived there, all of them dead in the house. She died with a rigid body but the cause could not be ascertained by any doctor at the time. The report are there was just said that She died because her body has turned into a stone. Because of this, the allegations against Bathsheba increasingly that she was a a witch, or have made agreements with the Devil.
Bathsheba was buried in Harrisville, close to her husband's grave. The tombstone of Bathsheba now partially broken, probably due to the action of a rogue or those who do not like her. His son Herbert then married and now have their own children.
