The Whaley House in San Diego, California, United States is a haunted house with a history of a dark and frightening. Now operates as a museum, which has a reputation as one of the most haunted house in the world. The ghost hunters have also visited the house several times over the years.

The story began when the The Whaley House was built in 1857 by Thomas Whaley at the top of the lynching and the public cemetery. The Death have occurred several times in this place and the now becomes the haunted house and its sightings.

Innumerable lynchings occurred at the site before The Whaley House was built. In one of the floors that are in the house was a the Yankee Jim Robinson once hung there in 1852. the Yankee Jim is someone who is very tall and when was hung his legs trying to scavenge the ground underneath an existing entanglement whilst restrain his neck. Said it took almost an hour to his last breath.

In order to build his home, Mr. Whaley knocking down the old lynchings spot. And Whaley family soon moved into the house. They then began to hear the footsteps moving up and down the stairs. Mr Whaley said that sounds like the boots of someone who is very big. Many people experience as they are entangled on the neck when it stood at one of the floor. The others said they saw sightings of the Yankee Jim figure on the stairs.

The boy of Whaley the smallest was the first to die at this house. She found to have been died from an outbreak of fever in his room, in the year 1858 and at the age of only 17 months old. Since then, the cries of intangibles is often heard coming from the room formerly used by the baby.

In the mid early 1800s a young girl named Carrie Washburn, who was a friend of the children of Whaley, was playing in his backyard. She did not notice much around and accidentally ran into a clothesline that were there. The Rope was then wrapped around her neck and strangle her throat. Looks like she was hanging. The Corpse then taken into the house after being discovered and left on the kitchen table. Since then, a blond girl who is often seen standing in the kitchen and ran to courtyard. a Butcher knife is also commonly seen moving itself.

One time, Mr. Whaley then rent out the upstairs of his house to a theater group. One night, a member of the theater group has accused his girlfriend was unfaithful to him. When she denied it, he took a knife and stabbed him to death in the back of door.

The eldest daughter of Thomas Whaley, Violet, in 1885 had tried to commit suicide without any apparent reason. She threw herself on the roof of the house and fall into a deep well that is outside the house. Her father, who heard her screams when it fell in the water and ran toward and save her.

Three weeks later, Violet died mysteriously. Said before his death he went to the toilet in his house, took a rifle and fired it at his own chest. But somehow, when they found his body in that small room, the shotgun not found anywhere. Many years later, the weapon was found hidden under a slab that was in the barn in the back of the house. Nobody knows how it could be there.

In the end after the death, the ghost of Thomas Whaley occupied this house on its second floor, dressed in a black suit with a wide-brimmed hat. People also see the sightings looking at them from the top of the window of his house.
